The Marin Educational Group has sprung from Carmen Arriola de Marín Instituto/ School, founded in 1912 by layman Plácido Marín, aiming to offer a "New Education for a New Civilization".

     It is also open and willing to provide any services that may guide the community towards the building of this new civilization in close contact with those values portrayed in the Bible. This is why every member is oriented to the ultimate goal in our lives which is God himself, centred in Christ, in constant commitment with the surrounding reality.



ISO 9001:2000

The Marin Educational Group obtained from Det Norske Veritas (DNV) the quality certification for the his Quality System of Managenent applied on  Carmen Arriola de Marín and Plácido Marín schools. 

All other institutions will reach soon this certification.

CUSI - San Isidro University Centre
(Formerly known as Marín College)

Schools
Carmen Arriola de Marín 
It was founded in 1912 by Plácido Marín and is the main Institution of the Group located in San Isidro, a northern city at the metropolitan area of Buenos Aires.
Cardenal Pironio 
This school is located in Nordelta Town-City and it was founded in 2001. The proposal is to educate young people involved in real time and ready to face a changing world with knowledge, solidarity and creativity. 
Santa María de Luján
Founded in 1885 this school was named Santa María, later in mid 1990s the GEM took administration.
Plácido Marín
Established in a special zone of marginal development this school works as public and provides contention to the youths. 
San Benildo Maternal Centre  
This institution provides the care, handling, holding and first approaches to education for babies from a few weeks old up to 3 years old.

Contents Publisher System (SPC)
SPC is a local or network program that works with WYSIWYG and contacts a fixed server for internet publishing. The interface and back-end systems provides a very simple and clear way to publish and update without extensive knowledge of web design and transfers.

Virtual Campus Marín (CVM)
This virtual campus with nice an relaxing schema is multilingual and detects it by itself. Also has accessibility facilities such as font size and face. It's developed with ASP for Windows servers.

Wireless Access Protocol web sites for mobile phones. Actual services example is dynamic contents for tracking the educational trips of our students, providing information to the parents anywhere and anytime with the latest updates.

This project links schools from northern regions of the world with a school located in the Argentinean antartic sector at "Base Esperanza". The GEM provides ISDN, Web and IP technologies and the educational services and experience of Carmen Arriola de Marín School. For more information visit:

"EL BELGRANO VIVE"

In 2002 the Marin Television Centre (CTM) produced a documentary about the cruiser  "A.R.A. Gral Belgrano", sunk during the South Atlantic conflict in 1982. It was done with the cooperation of Argentinian Navy and broadcasted by Canal 7 Argentina, the estate nation wide TV network.

ISDN OPEN WINDOW

The Marin Educational Group is equipped with ISDN videoconference systems with both national and international lines together with the latest equipments which allow to converge various origins and destinies simultaneously.

The intention of this ring is to group interests from institutions around curricular axis so that they can share experiences.

As an example you can watch the videoconference between La Salle, San Martin de Tours and Carmen Arriola de Marin Schools that took place in order to pray for Easter 2001.
